Description

Why the winemaker recommends Cantine Nicosia Etna Bianco Vulkà

Saying Etna raises great expectations!! Vulkà is a white Etna, based on catarratto (60%) and carricante, a wine with marked minerality, an extension of the aromas of the Mediterranean scrub. A frank sip, animated by glycerine consistencies. A characteristic white Etna, perhaps not with great personality, but still well made.

Characteristics of Vulkà white wine from Nicosia

Blend of catarratto and carricante with extreme acidity and minerality. Olfactory onset typically of white pulp fruit, especially pear and green apple, with medlar and floral notes of wild flowers, followed by aromatic grass. The Vulkà is an Etna Bianco with a coherent and full-bodied taste, a pleasant sip and a drink that invites you to continue. Balanced and with a sufficiently persistent intense finish.

Recommended pairings for this Etna white DOC 2022 wine

Excellent pairing of Etna Bianco Vulkà with a plate of fish crudités and a boiled fish salad.

Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10 -12°C in a Tulipano glass.

Cantine Nicosia promotes the territory, starting from the prized native vines and the international varieties that are best suited to Sicily. A path of excellence in the Sicilian wine tradi
