Basarin Barbaresco from organic production, the area is Neive in harmony with the other Barbaresco. Paitin is the name of the winery, Giovanni and Silvano Pasquero have managed the winery for 5 generations. Here too, fruity red, elegantly complex.

Characteristics of Paitin Basarin wine

High quality Basarin Barbaresco. Tart red fruits with balanced minerality and a small floral note. White pepper appeared after letting this wine breathe which makes it more approachable. Pale ruby color. Cranberry, black cherry, wet and mossy river rock, crushed granite and rose petal. Dry. High acidity. High tannins.

Barbaresco Basarin with chicory on broad bean muss; risotto and truffle; roast fassona; a scattering of cherry tomatoes hanging from the rope; platter of Norcia cured meats and Parmigiano Reggiano.

Uncork and decant two hours before serving Basarin Barbaresco at a temperature of 18 - 20°C in a large Ballon glass.
