Why the oenologist recommends Contadi Castaldi Curtefranca Bianco DOC 2023
Appreciable minerality of the Chardonnay of Franciacorta from the Contadi Castaldi house. If we don't ask for anything more, it still gives us a beautiful emotion, because it allows us to travel to a land that is very suitable for these grapes but perhaps less known for the still versions. Chardonnay in purity, summer notes of exotic fruit enough to brighten a beautiful evening.
Characteristics of the Curtefranca di Contadi Castaldi white wine
The chardonnay from the vineyards of Doro, Capriolo, Cazzano San Martino, Erbusco in Franciacorta, a DOC white wine fermented and aged for 6 months in steel follows in used barriques. Straw yellow color with golden reflections, shiny. It opens to the nose with delicate floral aromas of white flowers and fruity peach and lemon; notes and hints of vanilla, sweet almonds, tobacco. Fresh, with hints of vanilla, it expresses itself well in the mouth where it is supported by a correct savory shoulder, like the acidity in the finish. Very easy to drink, at the table it never looks bad.
