Why the winemaker recommends Broglia La Meirana Gavi
Speaking of Gavi, it is almost colorless and transparent, and resembles a clean and hard wine, but the color of “La Meirana” is a bright gold. Immediately after pouring it into the glass it is slightly effervescent and has distinct aromas. It has a delicate sweetness that seems to drink honey and a long mineral aftertaste.
Characteristics of the wine La Meirana di Broglia
Gavi excellent wine the most representative of this winery. Vinified exclusively in steel, it presents itself with a clear straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose it expresses elegant aromas with hints of white flowers, aromatic herbs, mineral notes. In the mouth despite the acidity being lower than other vintages this wine is fresh and full to the taste with good acidity, medium body and quite round. Good persistence and slightly almondy finish. A Gavi that greatly represents the territory.
Recommended pairings with Gavi the white wine Piedmont
A perfect pairing: carpaccio of sea bass and shrimp and rocket; Robiola delle Langhe; with pesto; with a linguine with clams and cockles.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10 - 12 °C in a Tulipano glass.
