Why the winemaker recommends Bruno Broglia Gavi
This is a rather different Gavi that represents a pleasant change. Fresh and crisp summer wine, easy to drink. Notes of pear, grass and tropical fruits.
Characteristics of the wine Bruno Broglia Gavi di Broglia
In the Meirana estates since the Middle Ages, the Cortese vines have been cultivated in the Gavi area in the province of Alessandria. Due to its characteristic structure and acidity, it offers a long conservation. Straw yellow color with greenish reflections that opens to the nose with intense aromas of white flowers and yellow pulp fruit, with mineral notes and a citrus finish. In the mouth it offers the palate fresh, dry, light, balanced, with a nice minerality.
Recommended pairings with Gavi the Piemonte white wine
the good acidity allows it to be paired with shellfish or simply drunk as an aperitif. A perfect pairing cacio e pepe; on carbonara; troccoli with cuttlefish.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 10 - 12 °C in a Tulip glass.
