Why I suggest Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP 2020
From 1897, the year in which the Bosco family began to cultivate strains of red berried grapes from which he obtained wine with a spicy aroma and flavor, sixty years later he has been conquered the most demanding palates of the globe. This wine was called Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, today as then nothing has changed.
Sommelier:
Wine obtained from pure Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes. The wine has an intense ruby red color with strong violet reflections. Intoxicating perfumes to the nose it is intense, complex, fruity and floral, with hints of red fruits and a light spicy note. Full-bodied, little acidity on the palate, dry with tannins present but not overbearing, medium on the finish.
Suggested pairings:
The wine is perfect on second courses of red meat cooked on the grill, with the sauce and with dishes rich in important and persistent flavors.
Uncork Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP ½ hour before and decant, serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C in a large Ballon glass.
Cellar:
As in the high military representations, we honor the Cantina Bosco. 120 years have passed since the foundation stone was laid by the young winemaker Giovanni Bosco from Pescara ...
