Why I suggest Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva 2015
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 100% from the small village of Ripa Teatina, also known as the birthplace of Rocky Marciano. It may not have Rocky's punch, but this is a very enjoyable and well crafted Montepulciano.
Sommelier:
Montepulciano intensely dark in the glass. The nose has black cherries, herbs, leather, tobacco and vanilla. Palate black cherries, dark fruit, herbs, spices and sweetness from the oak. Structured with good depth, great acidity and solid tannins.
Recommended pairings:
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP Riserva 2013 Di Sipio it goes well with all winter vegetables seasoned with sautéed oil, garlic, salted anchovies and chilli. Assortment of cheeses; tagliata di fassone, Florentine steak.
Uncork and decant Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP Riserva 2013 Di Sipio before serving at a temperature of 18 ° C, in a Ballon glass.
Cellar:
In a perfect context of climate, land, native grapes, the Di Sipio Nicola company is at ease. From plots with different altitudes, exposures, slopes, soil structure, we obtain fine, long-lived white mineral and red wines with an excellent alcohol content...Go to the card
