Why the winemaker recommends Teruzzi Toscana Rosso IGT Peperino 2020
Tuscan that satisfies the palate. Clean and deep, perhaps still not very mature.
Characteristics of Teruzzi's Peperino wine
Excellent Rosso Toscana Peperino wine, also in the affordable price for the well-made product. Sangiovese and Merlot express themselves with notes of blackberry and blackcurrant berries. Spicy and earthy secondary; pepper all over. Balsamic and herbaceous tertiaries of dried leaves: tobacco. Intense and full-bodied on the palate, powerful and with good structure. Fruity scents chase each other balancing themselves with the sustained acidity which in turn contrasts the developed but not bulky tannins and make the sip substantial. Long finish the right and a positive surprise.
Recommended pairings for this Red wine Toscana IGT
Excellent with Mediterranean cuisine, from pasta with meat sauce to legume soups; with gravy and grilled meat. Perfect with a compote of vegetables in oil. Ideal for snacks, Apulian taralli, wine and Roman pecorino cheese.
Uncork a Toscana Rosso IGT Peperino 2020 and serve at a temperature of 16° - 18°C in a Tulipano glass.
