Description

Why I suggest Sammarcello Terre Siciliane IGT 2018

The Sammarcello preserves the organoleptic properties conferred by the preservation in cement tanks. Represents to the Company the Baron of Serramarrocco the apotheosis, “the old man who teaches” and handed down a quid that never dyes. A wine that in the glass it evolves in complexity and in the palate, the intersections of sensations of softness and flavour.

Sommelier:

The Grapes of the Capital IGP Sicily collected in the Vineyard Sammarcello of Serramarrocco. An excellent wine of good body, texture and alcoholic content 13,50% vol. red color with ruby reflections. Olfactory sensation: the scent of fruits: sour cherry, cherry and chocolate. On the palate, the softness, the tannins skilfully balanced in flavour that holds up to the end with grace and comes back in the flavor, to suggest the grape variety of origin.

Food pairings:

Excellent Sammarcello Terre Siciliane IGT 2018 Barone di Serramarrocco with dishes with strong flavour and spicy, grilled Tuna, food seasoned with sauces sweet and sour, mature cheeses, grilled swordfish. Snails bourguignon, creamed Cod with potatoes and pumpkin, with a terrine of wild game.

Uncork Sammarcello Terre Siciliane IGT 2018 Barone di Serramarrocco and do oxygenate before serving at the temperature 14 - 16°C. in cup Ballon.

Cellars:

The Wine Road of Erice, Sicily Doc, is included in an area planted with vines in the regional of more than 65,000 hectares. The most extensive of Europe, in which the Region of Sicily, in virtue of the wine-growing tradition, wanted to protect the vineyards under the name of the Vineyard of Serramarrocco,...
