Why the winemaker recommends Tenuta di Aglaea Contrada Santo Spirito Rosso Etna DOC 2015
Santo Spirito is the name given to the wine that indicates Borgo Santo Spirito, municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo (CT). Volcanic territory at high altitude 800 meters above sea level. where we managed to create and produce an extraordinary wine. A so-called volcanic wine, due to the pedoclimatic conditions to which the vine has adapted, whose red grapes are Nerello Mascalese. The sapling-trained vines outline the qualitative range of the great wines of the South, supported by strong temperature variations that amplify the complexity of the shelf life of this wine from Santo Spirito.
Characteristics of the Contrada Santo Spirito Tenuta di Aglaea wine
Rosso Etna DOC from Tenuta di Aglaea, a wine with excellent consistency and personality, which takes on ruby reflections in the glass. Aroma of ripe fruit such as cherries and morello cherries. Round, harmonious, full taste; the flavor is not at all astringent, since the mature tannin has harmonized well with all the components of the chemical-physical structure, and can be swallowed easily. Good alcohol content, 13% vol., and good persistence.
