Why I suggest Rocche di Castiglione Barolo DOCG 2018
The "Cru" of great value, the Nebbiolo of Rocche di Castiglione, produced by 40-year-old vines in a land rich in skeleton where only Nebbiolo da Barolo is grown. A Barolo that turns out to be very structured and long-lived and falls into a constant and methodical vinification in line with ancient traditions of winery. Fermented in large barrels and refined in the bottle so that the noble red wine RoccheViberti slowly elaborates delicate aromas and fullness of flavors.
Sommelier:
100% Nebbiolo, dyes the glass of ruby red with garnet reflections, wine with an accentuated consistency. The intensity and fragrance brings us back to harvest, exceptionally structured, with evident notes of violet, goudron and vanilla. In the mouth wide, warm the tannin is soft leaving a long finish persistent.
