Description

Why the winemaker recommends Roccheviberti Rocche di Castiglione Barolo DOCG 2018

The highly prized "Cru", the Nebbiolo di Rocche di Castiglione, produced from 40-year-old vineyards in a soil rich in skeleton in which exclusively Nebbiolo from Barolo is bred. A Barolo that appears to us to be very structured and long-lived and falls into constant and methodical vinification in line with ancient cellar traditions. Fermented in large barrels and refined in the bottle so that the noble Roccheviberti red wine slowly develops delicate aromas and fullness of flavours.

Characteristics of the Barolo Rocche di Castiglione di Roccheviberti wine

Nebbiolo Rocche di Castiglione colors the glass ruby red with garnet reflections, a wine with an accentuated consistency. The intensity and aroma takes us back to the harvest, exceptionally structured, with evident notes of violet, tar and vanilla. In the mouth, broad and warm, the tannin is soft, leaving a long, persistent finish.
