Sangiovese retains the expression of absolute balance. The performing characteristics that Sangiovese wine elaborates in a natural way, allows it to reach and satisfy any space and gustatory pupil, satisfying its expectations. The wine that does not know a defined border, but amazes the most circumspect producer. The fourteen-day fermentation produced a fragrant and fruity wine, recognizable on the nose and on the palate.
Characteristics of the Conti Costanti red wine of Montalcino
Rosso di Montalcino DOC on the nose offers fruity hints of dark cherries and plums to which are added floral tones of violet and lavender, spicy notes of cloves and balsamic nuances. Energetic and powerful on the palate, warm and long in persistence. To be drunk even vertically from year to year it could bring you nice surprises.
Recommended pairings for this Sangiovese red wine
Red meat ragout; first courses of legumes or vegetables with lamb; pork in cabbage stew; Horsemeat chops, preferably spicy; Donkey stew, goes well with Neapolitan casatiello.
Uncork the Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino wine and decant several hours before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a large Ballon goblet.
