Why the oenologist recommends Sella & Mosca Alghero Torbato Spumante DOC
Torbato is a vine introduced in Sardinia by the Spaniards around the 14th century, ampelographically classified as Vitis Iberica. Recent research places it alongside the Malvasia variety of Roussillion or Tourbat. The version of Sella and Mosca, a charmat method brut, is really successful, it spreads out gracefully.
