The winemaker recommends ATTEMS Trebes Ribolla Gialla DOC 2022
The Ribolla Gialla Friuli Venezie Giulia white wine, now an exclusive production in the Gorizia Collio on soil made up of sandstones. Cultivated in Guyot with low yields and high quality of the wine. This aspect contributed positively to obtaining the good concentration of the aromatic profile. The grapes are harvested in the last week of September, the must is fermented in concrete tanks, where the container's natural temperature of 18°C meets the requirements of eco-sustainability. This practice has favored the development of the bouquet, especially of the vegetable aromas. The refinement in concrete tanks and barriques gives Ribolla Gialla delle Venezie the right connotation of an indigenous white wine of Friuli.
Characteristics of the Ribolla Gialla wine of Frescobaldi
From the Attems - Frescobaldi Ribolla Gialla Trebes DOC winery, in the glass the color is straw yellow, clear, with soft greenish reflections. Delicate aroma and pleasant sensation of lightness, dynamic wine. The characterizing scent of Ribolla Gialla are the citrus notes with clear hints of the tasty green apple of the Dolomites, ending with a finish of aromatic herbs. The innate freshness makes it drinkable, in the mouth the excellent minerality becomes captivating and gives way to a long and harmonious finish.
