Ribolla Gialla DOC Friuli Colli Orientali di Vigna Traverso, to distinguish itself from Ribolla Nera which is Schioppettino grape, has been known especially in Friuli since the XIII century. The two classic areas of the vine are considered Rosazzo and Oslavia. It gives a light, delicate, floral wine, sometimes with lemon aromas. In recent years some trials of aging in new oak have been carried out.
Characteristics of Ribolla wine Vigna Traverso
Ribolla Gialla gives the wine a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, excellent consistency and alcohol content 13.00% vol. On the nose an elegant floral and fruit scent; On the palate it is dry, pleasantly bitter, good balance. Refined wine in its notes, harmonious and good persistence.
