The oenologist recommends Torre Rosazza Verduzzo Friulano 2019
From the Oleis di Manzano vineyards in the territory of the Colli Orientali del Friuli a great strong and generous dessert wine, from Friulian Verduzzo grapes left to dry on the racks, obtained from late harvest, fermentation long partly in steel and partly in oak barrels at temperature controlled, 6 months refinement in bottle. Brilliant golden yellow color with copper highlights, opens to the nose with fruity aromas and spices.
Characteristics of Verduzzo wine:
100% Verduzzo Friulano. Passito wine. Ripe fruit, apricot, candied fruit, pear, notes of vanilla and dried fruit. Sweet, warm and extremely soft. Fresh and quite savory with a slight tannic note. Balanced, intense and persistent. A mature wine, which I tried with taste as an aperitif. Not too complex, you are happy to drink.
Recommended pairings with Verduzzo wine:
Chocolate cake stuffed with pear, many pastry products. From meditation accompanied to a Dutch sweet tobacco.
Serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in a small Tulip glass
