Why the winemaker recommends Bertinga Toscana IGT Volta
The champion winemaker was very proud of this limited production 100% Merlot, a 758 case work of art produced in 1997 by the Bertinga da Gaiole in Chianti vineyard. A high quality Tuscan Merlot defined by Elisa Ascani & Consulting Enologist Stephane Derenoncourt; dark ruby color aged 18 months in Austrian barrels producing a masterpiece. It is very good, there is magic in the Merlot of Tuscany.
Characteristics of the Volta Toscana IGT wine
Bertinga Volta di Bertinga 2016 is a delicious Tuscan red with medium body and good tannin. The smell of wine gives you red cherry, black cherry, black pepper, cream, leather and tobacco, which you also find on the palate.
