Why the winemaker recommends Lunae Ciliegiolo Liguria di Levante IGT
Explanatory label with botanical and winemaking elements. Very pleasant Liguria Ciliegiolo IGT, fruity taste and good persistence. It is closer to a cerasuolo than to a real red wine.
Characteristics of Lunae Ciliegiolo IGT wine
The elegant bouquet features raspberry and a light cherry. Drinking fresh, not cold has its own reason. In the mouth, the Ciliegiolo IGT wine highlights a great, almost lemon-like acidity, a light red fruit and practically zero tannin. As soon as it warms up in the aftertaste, there is a bitterness, but I wouldn't make a big deal about it, there is also a strawberry. Good sugar content, kept in balance by acidity. Lunae Ciliegiolo IGT is a gem.
Recommended pairings for this Liguria di Levante IGT red wine
Ciliegiolo wine should be paired with dishes based on cheeses and cured meats that are not too tasty. Excellent with fatty fish.
Uncork the Circvs IGT and serve at a temperature of 14° - 15°C in a Tulipano glass.
