Why the winemaker recommends Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta DOCG Pas Dosé Zero 2018
Appreciable Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in equal parts, 36 months of aging and no dosage give life to this very pleasant bubble, not too complex but direct, straightforward with a good body which however does not affect the freshness and good drinkability, balanced, stylistically well executed but which at the same time has a soul, fragrance and crunchiness are its strong points,
Characteristics of Contadi Castaldi Pas Dosé Zero sparkling wine
50% Chardonnay + 50% Pinot Noir for an excellent zero dosage that is close to 90 points. Straw yellow with gold-green reflections, it has an effervescence composed of fine, numerous and persistent bubbles. The nose has an elegant bouquet, clear fruity notes such as pear and apple, but also fragrant with chalk and butter. There is also a slight almond nuance with a hint of roasting and smoke. In the mouth it is structured, moderately warm, soft, very fresh and sapid. Excellent persistence.
