While a good vintage Franciacorta can easily pair with a good Champagne, this well-priced non-vintage bottle truly exceeded all expectations. Nose, body, texture and aromas fantastic value. It was like half price champagne. In fact at first glance it looked like Champagne! Maybe my bottle was aged longer.. hahahaha!!

Franciacorta Brut Clarabella good presentation in the glass with a compact and persistent foam. Straw-coloured Chardonnay sparkling wine with greenish reflections. Intense, complex and interesting bouquet: quince, unripe apricot, fresh butter, honey, white flowers, light varnish note. In the mouth enveloping bubbles, a little aggressive. It remains warm, soft in contrast to a tantalizing note of freshness and sapidity. Ready wine, balanced and harmonious.
