I knew what to expect from this wine. I have found it to be a delicious summer wine. Initial smell and taste a little bready, a little bit once it settles in some nice cherry and watermelon flavors. A great wine for a warm summer night.
Characteristics of the Sparkling Rosé Aglianico wine:
Casa di Baal rosé wine Campania IGT smell of breadcrumbs, strawberry jam, cherry. The Aglianico gives it a slightly citron note on the palate dry effervescent wine, medium spice with little tannins.
Recommended pairings with rosé Aglianico wine:
Land and sea hors d'oeuvres; very good with salmon.
