Alberto Longo has always studied and developed the potential agricultural resources of the Capitanata and Puglia area. The quality of the wine products of the Longo cellars is the result of tenacious choices, technical and managerial skills and teamwork. They gave value to the native vines by discovering all the pedoclimatic characteristics of adaptability and the enonic potential that can be exploited from the land of Daunia.

Alberto has in store a narration of his training path and a general vision of the Apulian agricultural territory. He was born, raised and raised in the countryside, in the countryside between Lucera and Pietramontecorvino, where it all begins with his parents. Macro geographical areas located between the Subappenino Dauno and the Gargano Promontory. Historically, in the period between the 10th and 3rd centuries BC, this territory hosted the Dauni, an Aegean population that made its cultural influence felt, that of the Greek civilization. Including the agricultural one, with the contribution, for example, of the first '' scions '' of red grape plants, from which it was able to give the origin to the name of the Nero di Troia grape.

The efficiency in producing and the elegance in welcoming make Alberto L. a goal, that is to produce quality wines. The winery is surrounded by vineyards with vines of Bombino Bianco, Falanghina, Montepulciano and Nero di Troia from the Cavalli farm, the only variety for the production of the famous Cacc 'e Mitte Lucera DOC wine. A mixed structure, historic rooms from the nineteenth century and a modern part. The feasibility studies have determined the appropriate use of the premises where the technological systems are located that allow the management of each stage of production up to refinement. The total area planted with vineyards is approximately sixty-four hectares, divided into parcels between the Fattoria Cavalli and Masseria Celentano farms. In the latter, mixed varieties are planted in addition to Primitivo and Negramaro. Unmistakable land for wines is influenced by the microclimate and the Balkan winds that invest the area allows the plant with a reduced yield of grapes, the physiological ripening. It maintains a constant equilibrium ratio between sugars and acids, a remarkable phenolic extractability. The result is a structured wine, always fresh, fruity and pleasant. As a demonstration of what was dictated by the producer Alberto Longo, the wines he produces are sober, structured, they dress with an elegant image, so much so that they are able to advertise themselves, an added value to the high value already contained in it.
