Ciavolich
Ciavolich
Ciavolich lustrous wool traders as early as the 1500s founded the winery in 1853 in Miglianico.
An old historic factory for the vinification of grapes of Abruzzo, made according to the most performing techniques of that period. Two levels of which the ground floor, called "palmento", was intended for the crushing of the grapes and the basement collected the must that dripped in large barrels of 132 Hl to be fermented and to refine the wine.
44 hectares of vineyards are now cultivated by Chiara Ciavolich, her husband Gianluca, involving his daughter Beatrice, and spread over the entire hill surrounding the estate of Loreto Aprutino.
Among the rows of vines cross succulent and golden clusters of Trebbiano, Cococciola, Pecorino, Chardonnay, Moscato, Passerina, and red grapes that are great resonance in the international wine world, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Accompany the wines and bottles with labels that well represent the territory such as: Fosso Cancelli, Antrum, Divus Montepulciano D'Abruzzo Doc, Aries Pecorino, Donna Ernestina Passerina Spumante Brut.
Wines able to compete with the big names. The excellence of Ciavolich products further stimulate investing in the territory and making the best use of production potential to face new markets.
