Why the winemaker recommends Ciavolich Colline Pescaresi PGI Pecorino Ariete 2023
I drank it and I have a pleasant memory. One of my favorite wines from this company, fruity and clean hints, structured palate, characteristic of the grape variety. Paired with challenging fish dishes it is truly excellent.
Characteristics of the Pecorino Ariete wine from Ciavolich
Pecorino Ariete is the flagship white wine of Chiara Ciavolich's winery which already at sight, with its golden yellow, reveals a beautiful complexity also due to the refinement in French oak barrels. The nose begins with a field of white and yellow flowers and then moves on to citrus scents. On the palate it amazes with its remarkable balance between freshness, flavor and alcohol content which alternate with a sweet, almond aftertaste.
Recommended pairings for this white wine from Colline Pescaresi PGI

Turbot with potatoes. Dishes with intense flavours, tubes with monkfish, spaghetti and Taranto mussels, peppered mussels, grilled prawns; fresh cheeses, fresh and dried fruit.
Uncork and serve Pecorino Aries Colline 2023 Ciavolich at a temperature of 10 - 12°C, in a Renano glass.
Ciavolich winery
Among the rows of vineyards we come across succulent and golden bunches of Trebbiano, Cococciola, Pecorino, Chardonnay, Moscato, Passerina, and red grapes that have great resonance in the international wine world, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. They accompany the wines and bottles with labels that well represent the territory such as: Fosso Cancelli, Antrum, Divus Montepulciano D'Abruzzo Doc, Aries Pecorino, Donna Ernestina Passerina Spumante Brut.
