The “Dominariu”, meaning house of the farmer, is the meaning of the Sardinian name to the wine. The grapes from which is produced the Dominariu is the Bovale, the main base in the production of red wines of sardinia. The Terralba DOC is included in the list of the great wines of Sardinia. Austere wine of great breadth, with strong territoriality.

Characteristics of Bovale wine:

 Wine produced from grapes Bovale, intense ruby red colour, alcohol content 13,50% vol. Wine full of fruit, a fan-aromatic, with intense hints of berries and spices. Robust taste with a good body, good tannins, not scratchy, persistent to the end.

Recommended pairings with Bovale wine:

Excellent Dominariu Rosso Sardegna Terralba DOC 2023 Melis for dishes with rich flavors, risotto milanese, truffle rolls, and meat pies. Troccoli, and orecchiette with lamb sauce, great for marinating meat, rabbit cacciatore, a duck on the spit.
