Why the oenologist recommends Bertinga Toscana IGT Sassi Chiusi
Another elegant Signora Toscana, the second wine from the Bertinga winery, enough power and body. The Sassi Chiusi, whose name derives from the characteristic stony soil that unites all the vineyards of the company, is what in France would be called the "second wine". The only wine that represents the company in its entirety, being produced from grapes from all three vineyards: Bertinga, Adine, Vertine.
Characteristics of the Sassi Chiusi Bertinga wine
Medium to full body, veiled color from deep red to purplish. Structure of the red fruit (cherries), black berries (black cherries, black currant, plum). Some earthy and smoky notes in the finish plus a slight minerality. Typical example for the series of "second wines" of Tuscan wineries.
