Why I suggest Albarossa
Chapeau, Piedmont never ceases to amaze. We remind you that Bricco dei Guazzi is one of the Monferrato wine landscapes belonging to the UNESCO World Heritage. Its geographical position is privileged, an area on a high '' bric '' hill with thirty-five hectares of vineyards and the Monviso in the background. Bricco dei Guazzi here adopts the autochthonous, the clone under study that sees the crossing of two clones that of Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Sommelier:
This Albarossa or Dalmasso cross (from the name of the agronomist who created the vine) wisely combines the elegance of Nebbiolo with the extractive generosity of Barbera and gives us a complex, mineral wine, with red roses and morositas, from above. alcohol content but perfectly balanced by freshness and velvet tannins.
Recommended pairings:
Albarossa Bricco dei Guazzi wine with red meats and vegetable first courses with bacon and croutons; pork in cabbage stew; Horsemeat chops better with spicy; Donkey stew, good with the Neapolitan casatiello.
Uncork and decant Albarossa Bricco dei Guazzi before serving at a temperature of 18 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
Cellar:
... the art of making wine is acquired from the past and is constantly updated without being satisfied with repeating it.
