Why I suggest Barolo Ginestra Vigna Sori Ginestra
If the perfect wine existed, this comes very close. Conterno Fantino proves to be a very good producer. They managed to blend the slightly violent and free-range characteristics of Barolo's Nebbiolo into the vineyard and cellar. Pleasant, fine on the palate; a great aging potential. To buy a lot and try not to drink it all right away.
The Sommelier: Garnet red with orange fingernail, ample bouquet with red fruits, violet, licorice, balsamic note and light wood, on the dry palate, tannin softened by long aging first in small barrels then in bottles, good acidity that gives a good balance , very persistent. An anthology barolo.
Suggested pairings: It goes well with truffle tagliolini; hare and polenta; carpaccio; Lamb ribs; cheeses; dried fruit of all kinds.
Uncork and decant a few hours before serving at 18 ° C in a large ballon glass.
Winery:… founded in 1982 by Conterno & Fantino is located in Monforte d'Alba an area where vineyards stretch for the production of exceptional grapes destined to produce the great Piedmontese red wines such as Barolo and the best… Go to card.
