Why the winemaker recommends Paitin Serra Campolive Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC 2022

Strong feminine personality for this elegant and fragrant Barbera Campolive. Notes of strawberry and red fruits stand out but also a very respectable floral bouquet. Once oxygenated and paired with foods of medium structure, the nuances of taste-olfactory pleasantness disappear and an excellent acidity and a discreet structure emerge, which dissolves a little in complexity compared to the initial tasting.

Characteristics of Paitin Campolive wine

Campolive Barbera Superiore of Neive, Piedmontese Langhe area. In the glass it has a purple-red finish with a hint of garnet, the nose is pleasantly enriched by sweet wood, cinnamon and a very light hint of clove. In the mouth the sip is warm, alcoholic and full with a very sweet spectrum that goes from black cherry in alcohol to very light blackberry, the finish is long and persistent which tends towards an acidic note.
