Tuscan Red Wines from Maremma have high hopes and try to go out of their way to make good wine. I think they will succeed. Great material. Great body, great extract, a real wine. It would still need time at least another 5 years. Try again in 5 years!!
Characteristics of the Elegantia wine by Rigoloccio
Cabernet Elegantia Maremma Toscana by Rigoloccio very intense aroma of ripe black cherries, green peppers, dusty earth and balsamic. The taste is dominated by spicy green peppers, tomato paste and ripe cherries, as well as balsamic notes. Very concentrated, strong with powerful tannins. Very long, tannic aftertaste of roasted coffee and dried tomatoes, excellent built-in acidity.
