Why the winemaker recommends Le Thadee Giulio the Montefalco red
An unforgettable wine experience, Montefalco DOCG embodies the excellence of the Montefalco area. The care in selecting perfectly ripe grapes, the accurate vinification and the long aging in wood give this Sagrantino a silky, round and perfectly balanced structure. This wine stands out for its aromatic complexity and persistence on the palate, making it ideal for convivial moments but also for meditating in solitude.
Characteristics of Montefalco Giulio by Le Thadee
Almost excellent Umbrian red from mainly Sangiovese grapes, Sagrantino for 13% alcohol. Good workmanship with some notes. It is basically a good Sangiovese from Central Italy with the Sagrantino to ensure body and austerity and to soften everything. A year in oak barrels however helps to enhance the tannins. Opening the bottle in time is strongly recommended to reduce astringency to acceptable values and offer excellent satisfaction both for aromas and flavor.
