Why the winemaker recommends Lungarotti Sagrantino di Montefalco 2019
The last bottle of Lungarotti goes away on a November evening accompanied by a Venetian liver that leaves the armchair and the rain that falls slowly. Perfect, full-bodied wine that fights well without ever tiring. I would say promoted by my taste.
Characteristics of Lungarotti Sagrantino
Garnet red wine of beautiful intensity, very dense. Intense and fine on the nose, complex with highlighted tertiaries and a very elegant balsamic note which is constantly associated with licorice, spices and a pleasant chocolate note. Warm and round, dry and slightly savory and fresh and with vibrant but already balanced tannins despite the fact that we are talking about Sagrantino. Sagrantino di Montefalco Lungarotti truly a beautiful combination of intensity and finesse crowned by an admirable persistence.
Recommended pairings for this red Sagrantino wine
