Why the winemaker recommends Tenuta Asinara Indolente Rosè
Among the rosés, definitely one of my favorites. It is not dull but has its own character inherited from its grape variety. The color is also pleasant. I would say very suitable as an aperitif and to accompany a nice structured first course. Excellent alternative if drunk cold.
Characteristics of the Rosé Cannonau di Asinara
Good quality rosé from Cannonau/Grenache from Sardinia🇮🇹 (my first rosé from the island), simple, good balance, intensity and finish. Dry, medium acidity, alcohol and body, medium flavors of grapefruit, lemon, red fruit, cherry, red currant with a medium aftertaste of lemon peel.
Recommended pairings for this Sardinian rosé wine
An excellent Sardinian DOC white wine, pleasant accompaniment to fresh pasta with fish sauce and cherry tomatoes.
Uncork and serve the Cannonau at a temperature of 10 to 12°C in a Tulip glass.
