Why I suggest Barbera dal Monferrato frizzante La Briosa D.O.C 2023 Montalbera
All in agreement that the name Barbera is derived from Vitis Vinifera Montisferratensis, then in the area between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria. The Barbera del Monferrato DOC sparkling comes from an old custom of the area asti wines bright and lively. The Barbera were bottled with advance, fishing the fermentation in the bottle, presenting the characteristic “VERVE”. Today was a growing success thanks to its versatility, freshness and agility of the drink.
Sommelier:
The Grapes of Barbera d'asti 100% fermented in stainless steel and in the end in an autoclave where a controlled re-fermentation captures the verve. The wine color is red with ruby reflections. Profumi and the typical hints of jam, berries and ripe cherries. The taste: good acidity gives freshness and minerality, on the palate you can feel the alcohol content 13,50% and a good body; con leggera tannins, balanced wine and medium persistence.
Food pairings:
Barbera dal Monferrato frizzante La Briosa D.O.C 2023 Montalbera dishes of cooked vegetables; legumes with fresh pasta. Aged cheeses, cured meats: Parma ham, bagels, wine scaldatelli, dried fruit.
Uncork and serve La Briosa Barbera dal Monferrato DOC frizzante 2023 Montalbera in goblets, Tulip shaped, recommended temperature 14 - 16°C.
