Why the winemaker recommends Frescobaldi Spumante Rosè DOC Classic Method Brut Millesimato Leonia Pomino 2018

Spumante Pomino Rosé, from Tenuta Pomino, elegant and bold wine, produced from a single variety of white grape Pinot Noir, with a decisive character and extremely broad quality, great full-bodied wine. It is wine lovers who appreciate the great attractions, easy to grasp and difficult to describe. The relatively high alcohol level of the wine, 12.50% Vol, can often leave a sensation of slight sweetness.

Characteristics of the Spumante Leonia Pomino Rosè Frescobaldi wine

Classic Method Rosè Sparkling Wine from Pinot Noir fermented in the bottle, the impeccable perlage gives rise to fine and persistent bubbles. Aging of the Leonia Pomino Rosè Brut Sparkling Wine on the yeasts gives an impact of intense aromas of bread crust and pastry, followed in space and time by a fresh bouquet of spring flowers with citrus notes. The persistent and marked flavor amazes us upon tasting, the Leonia, a generous Pinot Noir. Final with a green lemon aftertaste and pleasant alcoholic return.

The Pomino estate dates back to 1500, and is located in the place of excellence of Italian wines in Tuscany. The Grand Duke Cosimo III de 'Medici already testifies to this, when he identifies the four most suitable areas of Tuscany for producing Quality Wines.
