The winemaker recommends Merlot Rosso di Villa Piave DOC 2017
30-year-old vines, planted in alluvial soils rich in organic matter. Cultivated according to the Guyot system, high quality guaranteed, green harvesting and bunch thinning are practiced. Merlot wine in purity, excellent drinkability, robust, moderately tannic. The fermentations are completed in barriques and the refinement in the bottle.

Rosso di Villa Piave DOC 2017 by Ornella Molon Veneto red wine with ruby reflections. Clear, brilliant and consistent Merlot wine with 14.00% vol. The herbaceous scent is the characteristic of this wine, pleasant hints of cherry, red fruit, coffee with aging. The dry taste, rightly tannic, well balanced, soft in the mouth, the finish is medium persistent.

Dish that is preferred to be combined with this wine, according to food and wine tasting experiences on polenta, tortellini with meat sauce, rabbit cacciatore, roast pork loin, on chicken livers and veal sweetbreads, hand-made troccoli with lamb sauce, cheese medium and seasoned.
