Why the winemaker recommends Castel Sallegg Sauvignon blanc Alto Adige DOC
Refreshing, good Sauvignon Blanc easy to pair with food. Aromatic Sauvignon Blanc from a winery in South Tyrol Alto Adige. The vineyards are located near the village of Caldaro. A beautiful range of aromas with a well-balanced taste.
Characteristics of the Sauvignon blanc from Castel Sallegg
Sauvignon blanc wine with a light and balanced taste: varietal aromas. In the taste, a barely perceptible sweetness, initially slightly sweetish herbs, light fruity acidity, notes of white and green apple, mineral tones, barely perceptible nuances of green vegetables (asparagus, green courgettes), barely perceptible unctuousness, light sour notes, nuances of dried herbs, barely perceptible nuances of wild flowers.
Recommended pairings for this white wine from Trentino Alto Adige DOC
Excellent white wine from the Dolomites perfect for sea bream all'aqua pazza; with risotto with radicchio, gorgonzola and walnuts; with cured meats and tartare.
Uncork and serve Sauvignon Blanc at a temperature of 10 and 12°C in a Tulipano glass.
