Why I suggest Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2017
A wine that produces smiles, great sips and raised mood. The heavy existential conversations must give way to celebration and joy.
Sommelier:
Wonderfully surprising aroma. Clear ripe strawberries and raspberries, hints of other red and black berries, fruity and continuous aroma. 100% nebbiolo. Median body, fairly acid, tannins are perceptible but not aggressive. On the palate raspberries and blackberries. The wine opens up more after decanting. Great potential in taste. Aftertaste, slightly bitter, short and spicy.
Recommended pairings: Mafalde on shelled broad beans puree; red meats; vegetable first courses, lamb meats; Savoy cabbage stew of pork. Dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Meat chops better if with spicy; good with Florentine-style filet and grilled red Treviso radicchio.
Uncork and decant an hour before serving at a temperature of 18-20 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
