Why I recommend Monferrato DOC Barbera
Basically an Italian Provencal style rosé.
Sensory Profile of Barbera
Barbera Chiaretto Il Giullare this is a unique expression of Chiaretto, light and refreshing. Bright peach and tropical red fruit flavors. This rosé wine has very smooth acidity and lasts all the way through the finish. It is dry on the palate with almost no tannins.
Recommended Pairings and Serving Guidelines
Monferrato DOC Barbera with typical regional dishes: pancotto potatoes and turnip tops, battered zucchini flowers, crostini with cherry tomatoes and oregano, semi-mature cheeses.
Uncork and serve at 12 - 14°C, in a Renano glass.
The Story of Carlin de Paolo Four Generations of Passion.
The winery's name is a proud tribute to its founder, grandfather Carlo (known as "Carlin"), Paolo's son. He blazed the trail, cultivating the first vineyards with a simple yet rigorous philosophy: listening to nature and following its rhythms. Today, the fourth generation of the family upholds this precious legacy, combining ancient knowledge with modern winemaking technologies to bring the purest expression of the Piedmont terroir to the glass.
