Why the winemaker recommends Barbera d'Asti
Barbera tasting: another wonderful discovery. Barbera, made exclusively in steel. An impenetrable ruby red wine, heavily spiced, with the pleasant acidity of Barbera, well-integrated fruit (cherry), and good persistence.
Characteristics of the Rosso Fuoco Barbera Wine
A very fresh and drinkable Barbera. Aromas of very fresh fruit, red flowers, and especially animal notes of leather. Good intensity and pleasant smoothness, complemented by a strong acidity and a well-defined savory flavor. Overall, very pleasant.
Recommended pairings for this DOCG wine from Vite Colte
It pairs well with polenta, stews, braised meats, roasts, fondue with truffles, and blue cheeses.
We recommend uncorking and decanting the wine before serving at a temperature of 16°C in a balloon glass.
Colte Vine Cellar
A large well organized family produces unique and interesting products. This is what happens to Vite Colte, the art of cultivating the vine. The knowledge and dialogue between different generations, of farmers combined with experience, tradition, the typically Piedmontese passion.
