Why I suggest Nerello Mascalese Etna Rosato DOC
The wine is the result of the white vinification of Nerello Mascalese, the most important red grape produced by Cottanera. An extract of remarkable quality with a gustative thickness fed by a marked freshness. The vine of Nerello Mascalese adopted from the volcanic territory of Etna at an altitude of 800 mt s.l.m. from which it was possible to produce an extraordinary wine, as unique and extraordinary is the territory of Sicily.
The Sommelier: In the glass the color is a red discharge, the nose is more concentrated than a red, the ripe fruit leaves a perception of cherries. Sapid, non-astringent taste is easily swallowed; Excellent alcohol content 13% vol., Good persistence.
Recommended pairings: Steamed vegetable soups, season; White meat, stewed or grilled fish: tuna steak, seafood salads, grilled scottona, toasted bread and Pachino tomatoes, semi-hard cheeses, all kinds of dried fruit.
Uncork and serve at a temperature between 12 - 14 ° C, in a Burgundy glass.
Cellar: a large cultivated area of about one hundred hectares. Most of them in the last twenty years play an important role, the cultivation of "extreme" vineyards ... Go to the file.
