Why I recommend Avignonesi Cantaloro Toscana Red 2020
Something more than a basic wine. International blend, 38.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 25.5% Sangiovese. It is made in steel and wood for 18 months, after the malolactic fermentation a commendable wine without great pretensions but still well balanced and fragrant with hints of ripe red fruit and a slight spacing
Characteristics of Avignonesi Cantaloro red Tuscany wine
We want to enhance and admire the taste of the Cantaloro Red Toscana wine to the maximum, in which the bland composed of the three vines finds the right dishes to pair it with. Tuscan red wines in blend of Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, intense ruby red colour. The nose is frank and fine, very intense with red fruits, in particular cherries, then black cherries, small dark fruits, sweet spices. It is also pleasant in the mouth, full-bodied, warm, rounded, fresh, slightly savoury, sufficiently persistent, slightly tannic. Discreet balance and good drink, excellent value for money.
Recommended pairings with Cantaloro red wine
Sauces with fresh pasta; al fiasco beans; spicy sausages and baked beans; beef; baked veal; stuffed eggplant; roast venison; cheeses; dried fruit.
Uncork Avignonesi Cantaloro Toscana Red and decant before serving at a temperature between 16 - 17°C in a Ballon glass.
