Why I suggest Pinot Grigio
From the vineyards of Manzano, in the Rosazzo sub-area, located on terraces along the backs of the hills in the province of Udine, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC, an elegant, rich and dynamic white wine, from Pinot grapes, obtained by fermentation in steel and after a partial malolactic fermentation, stay on the lees in stainless steel for 6 months and subsequent refinement in glass for another 3 months. But, what can I say ... here are the three words that describe it, good, fair, honest. Alas, I'm afraid you won't forget it either.
The Sommelier: Good Pinot Grigio in light straw yellow purity. Olfactory intense and clean characterized by hints of apple and pear followed by chamomile wildflowers and flint. It has a good structure in the mouth and has a full and round sip, however of good alcohol content given the 13.5 degrees, fresh and savory, fully confirms the olfactory descriptors with remarkable minerality and with good balance. Intense, fine and persistent on the palate for a ready wine that also has room for evolution.
Suggested pairings: Vegetarian dishes; risotto with asparagus, mixed salads; fruit patterns. Excellent with shellfish; raw ham, mountain cheeses.
Serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in a Tulip glass.
Wine cellar: Friulian enology therefore adopts careful cultivation techniques, traditional winemaking which consolidate the scientific basis for increasingly excellent quality productions ...
