Excellent Barolo, powerful, formal and characterized by excellent prospective longevity. The aromatic spectrum is dynamic and constantly evolving.
Characteristics of Elvio Cogno Barolo Ravera wine
Describing this wine is not at all simple. A truly amazing smell, a balanced blend of important tertiaries, cinchona, cardamom, leather prunes are the most important. It is possible to enjoy smelling this wine without drinking it for tens of minutes. The flavor opens with leather and the hints felt before arrive subtle except for the leather which is clearly perceptible, very high but elegant tannicity.
Recommended pairings for this Barolo DOCG 2019 Piemonte red wine
Barolo is a perfect accompaniment for baked beef rump with new potatoes; well spiced stewed meat.
Uncork and decant two hours before serving this Barolo at a temperature of 18 - 20°C in a large Ballon glass.
