Why the winemaker recommends Malvirà Renesium Wine from overripe grapes
Wine obtained from overripe Arneis grapes from late harvest mixed with 10% aromatic varieties from the Trinità di Malvirà vineyard. Fermentation in wooden barrels + aging in oak for at least 2 years before bottling. Renesium sweet dessert and meditation wine, the flavor and a slight acidity make it more pleasant and fresh.
Characteristics of the Renesium wine from Malvirà
Renesium is an extremely pleasant and fine raisin wine, it has a scent very similar to honey and is light and delicious. On the nose candied fruit peach apricot, very coherent and elegant in the mouth without ever being cloying. It is not as sweet as Sauternes and pairs well with desserts without being unpleasant.
Recommended pairings with wine made from overripe grapes
It went well with a dark chocolate and blueberry cake. It also pairs well with cheese platters.
Uncork and serve the Renesium passito wine at a temperature of 12 - 14°C in a large glass.
