Why the winemaker recommends Broglia Roverello Spumante Brut Gavi
A must-have Brut on our table at the best times. Perfect perlage and easy, fresh and pleasant taste, it never tires in any season and with any dish. Production is about half a million bottles per year, mainly Cortese in Gavi (65 ha). Since 1995 they have aged their wines only in stainless steel and none of the wines undergo malolactic fermentation. These are the easy and sparkling whites that you will drink on a hot summer afternoon for an aperitif. This sparkling brut (~8 g/l of residual sugar) is citrusy, floral and crisp.
Characteristics of the Roverello Brut wine by Broglia
A family winery, the Charmat method releases the potential of the variety and captures the fruitiest aspects of Gavi. A small foam, the perlage disappeared immediately. Light minerality, fresh, harmonious, round, friendly.
Recommended pairings for the Gavi Brut sparkling wine.
