Characteristics of the red wine “Serramarrocco”

Serramarrocco is the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 80% Cabernet Franc 20% IGP Sicily from the Sammichele and Capitano vineyards in Serramarrocco. Full-bodied and consistent wine with an alcohol content of 13.50% vol. red color with ruby reflections. Olfactory sensation: aroma of black cherry jam, cherries, and chocolate. On the palate: dry and elegant in softness, it holds in the mouth until the graceful finish.

Excellent Serramarrocco Terre Siciliane IGT 2015 with dishes with a robust and spicy flavour, grilled tuna, foods seasoned with sweet and sour sauces, mature cheeses, grilled swordfish. Snails bourguignonne, cod with potatoes and pumpkin, with game terrines.

Uncork Serramarrocco Terre Siciliane by Barone di Serramarrocco and allow to oxygenate before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a Ballon glass.
