Characteristics of the Torrette di Grosjean wine
From Petit Rouge (80%), Vin de Nus, Cornalin and Fumin. Young in character, clear and medium consistency. Fresh, crunchy red fruit, an earthy and mineral hint make up a medium-structured nose. In the glass it is agile, with moderate acidity and alcohol content, soft tannins and medium minerality. All in all a fine and balanced quality wine, without high-sounding sounds. Its softness in the mouth is pleasant, making it elegant.
Recommended pairings for this Aosta Valley red wine
Spicy wine suitable for traditional dishes of northern Italian cuisine.
Perfect with lightly spiced white meats; with radicchio risotto; Fossa cheese with pomace and walnuts.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a large glass.
