Characteristics of Grosjean Torrette Superiore red wine
Torrette Superiore excellent Grosjean blend, Valle d'Aosta, Petit Rouge base 75%, Fumin/Cornalin/Premetta. Vineyards with 30 year old vines mature in oak 30 Hl, one year in bottle. Excellent aroma, intense of berries, cranberry. Remarkable balance, silky, elegant on the palate, long finish with well integrated balsamic aftertaste 13.5% alcohol.
Recommended pairings for this Valle d'Aosta DOC red wine
Suitable to accompany Aosta Valley polenta and stewed deer, it gives its best; blue and goat cheeses; soft Aosta Valley cheeses.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a large glass.
