Why the winemaker recommends Grosjean Vigne Rovettaz Petite Arvine Valle d'Aosta DOC 2023
Organic wine with excellent character and inviting colour, wine with an unattainable quality/price ratio, explosive aroma, on the palate an excellent balance between flavour, intensity and 13.5 degrees which cannot be felt even by mistake.
Characteristics of Grosjean Petite Arvine white wine
The refinement of Grosjean Petit Arvine takes place first in steel and then in barrique for eight months on the yeasts, giving a rounded structure and light sweet hints of butter and hay. The aromatic, floral complement is valuable, with a herbaceous and mineral component, wild flowers and well-blended citrus fruits. In the mouth it is acidic and is well balanced and persistent.
Recommended pairings for this Vigne Rovettaz white wine Valle d'Aosta DOC 2023
The Petite Arvine by Grosjean is a white wine that I would define as elegant, very versatile in pairings with sea bass, steamed sea bass, spaghetti with clams and Taranto mussels; it is also notable for meditation. Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 12 - 14°C in a Tulipano glass.
